MULTI-TONEs generation using single vsource

 Dear All,

I was trying to generate multitones [ like Vin=A1*sine(2*pi*f1*t) + A2*sine(2*pi*f2*t + phase1 in degree) + A3*sine(2*pi*f3*t + phase2 in degree) +... ] using a single source and then using it in the PSS analysis of a complex circuit.

Before doing that, I realized as follows:-

1) 1st of all the effect of two fundamental tones impact ( if you use it) on the multi-sinusoid is not clear to me.

2) So I didn't use them at all and use only multi-sinusoid options with phases. I used three tones with f1=100MHz & Phase= 0 , with f2=110MHz & Phase=60 degree, f3=90Mhz & Phase=-60 degree.

The exact ( schematic and multi-sinusoid setting are show on the file attached)

I also used three different vsources ( also shown in the figure) with the corresponding frequencies and phases.

But when I did PSS ( with beat frequency set to 10MHz,mode-> conservative) , the multisinusoid (single vsource setting ) i.e the node SIG_IN_MULTI gives the phase as :-

100MHz --> 269.99 , 90MHz-->178.73, 110MHz-->107.741 degree

But the  three different vsources point gives the desire as below i.e. the node SIG_IN:-

 100MHz --> -90 , 90MHz--> -150, 110MHz--> -29.99 degree.

I am NOT able to figure out why the Multi-sinusoid single vsource is giving wrong phases.

Could anybody please tell what is the issue with single vsource with multi-sinusoids.

Kind Regards,
