Dear All,
I would like to see the perturbation projection vector(PPV) waveform which is used, e.g. to calculate phase noise in an oscillator in pnoise analysis by Specre.
From the PPV wave form one can get the ISF (impulse sensitivity function) which gives a detail analytical view of how a noise source in the oscillator impacts the phase noise of the oscillator)
There is an option on the pnoise options form called "enable osc ppv" (As given in Spectre® Circuit Simulator and Accelerated Parallel Simulator RF Analysis
User Guide Product Version 16.1). But it also says "it is no longer is used". What does it mean ?
Could I use this to plot the PPV waveform ?
Kind Regards,
